CJM Blog Launch!

Welcome, friends!!  I am SO excited to officially launch the CJM blog!  This has been on my to-do list for a little while, and now that things have *somewhat* calmed down (let’s be real, it’s 2021 and COVID is still here, so it’s not possible for things to have TOTALLY calmed down…), I’m beyond excited to get this ball of a blog rolling!

I have always found blogging interesting, but I never knew how I would start a blog or what I would write about.  Before entering into the wedding planning world, I worked as a seventh-grade English Language Arts teacher – and I LOVED it!  Aside from modeling to my students a love for reading (and hitting all the required standards and blah blah blah), I also really loved doing creative writing activities with my students.  From writing a letter as Ponyboy Curtis to Katniss Everdeen to “Monday Matters” where we watched inspirational videos before personally reflecting on the video, I loved it all.  BUT – even then, my love for writing wasn’t satisied.  Fast forward several years and weddings later, and here we are!

My vision for this blog is to showcase not only our planning, management, and design work with amazing CJM couples for their wedding day, but to also provide you, our lovely reader, with wedding planning resources, real wedding insporation from former CJM couples, and a peak into my personal life!  With that being said, stay tuned for more!  I’m so excited to have you here 🙂
