Absolutely!!  We will be as involved as you want us to be throughout the whole wedding planning process.  We will always ask you what you want and try to get the best understanding as to what you are envisioning.  We will also make our suggestions as appropriate because that's what you hired us for!  At the end of the day, your wedding is YOUR wedding - we're just here to help make it the best it can possibly be!

Will i still have some control over my wedding if i hire you as my planner?

To put it simply, a venue coordinator is looking out for the venue's best interest, whereas a wedding coordinator is looking out for YOUR best interest.  Typically, the venue coordinator will focus on anything involving the venue (food, table & chair set-up, bathrooms, room flip, etc.) and a wedding coordinator focuses on you and making sure your vision has become a reality.

My venue offers a site coordinator.  do i still need a wedding planner or coordinator?

Typically we have one assistant for every 100 guests.  If you plan to have a bigger wedding, we will bring on an additional assistant for a small fee.  The final size of the team will depend not only on your guest count but on the specific logistics for your big day (set-up, timing, transfer of decor items, room flip, etc.).  Either way, you can rest assured that everything will be handled smoothly.

We charge a flat rate for our services and this includes one assistant the day of, travel fees, and everything listed in the package you select.  We don't charge a percentage of your budget because morally, it doesn't seem right.  Just because someone might have a higher budget than another person doesn't mean they should pay more money for a wedding planner who is providing the exact same service and working just as hard.  Each of our packages can be customized to fit the specific needs of the couple.

Absolutely!  With all of our packages, we create a detailed timeline to share with everyone involved (entire bridal party, family members, anyone involved in ceremony, & all vendors).  When we run your rehearsal, we will have the timeline printed off to give to each and every person involved.  We stick around to answer any questions that may arise so everyone is on the same page and knows what to expect and when to expect it.

Whether or not you need a wedding planner really comes down to how much work you are able and willing to put in to planning and coordinating your wedding.  Our packages can be custom made for every bride to ensure you are getting the exact services you need.  Basically, our job is to make the planning process as fun and relaxed as possible.  While you focus on the exciting parts of designing your wedding like finding the perfect dress and selecting the invitation suite, we focus on all the behind-the-scenes stuff.
